How long do you play for?

 

We find 2 x 45 minute sets works very well for weddings and parties. 2 x 60 minutes set can also work well for longer events.

 

Do I need a DJ?

 

As an alternative to having to pay for a separate DJ we can provide you with a professionally mixed Disco, along with background music during breaks and after performance. We have a huge library of Party Tunes and this service has always been a success.

 

We are also very happy to work and liaise with a DJ of your choice.

 

How much floor space and power do you require?

 

Ideally 4 x 5 metres of floor space and a minimum of 2 power supplies.

 

Where can we see you play?

 

Many of our performances are private events but we aim to play a handful of public performances each year. Please check our online diary for public events.

Do you have any special requirements?

 

Due to safety reasons, when playing in Marquees or outdoors the band will require all equipment to be fully covered from the elements and a hard floor or stage to be in place.

Any power supplies from generators must be professionally installed.

 

Do you have public liability insurance?

 

Yes.

 

How long do you require to set up?

 

We generally require a minimum of 1 hour to set up. A sound check is not always necessary and we understand that this is sometimes impractical. We always aim to keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

 

Can you work with a venue installed sound limiter?

 

Sound limiters respond to frequency and volume peaks in live music that aren't present in prerecorded music. Most sound limiters act solely as a warning device, but some shut off the power supply and have the risk of damaging sound equipment, more importantly causing gaps in the performance!

 

It would need to be established if the power will be cut in the event of a sound limit being exceeded. We are yet to find a venue with an installed limiter that wasn't willing to work with us after realising we are a professional band doing everything possible to remain at a reasonable volume.
